UNSW Michael Crouch Innovation Centre’s inaugural startup accelerator program, Founder 10X, came to a conclusion last week. A graduation day was held to mark the end of the program, where the 10 founders who took part showcased their products and shared their Founder 10X experiences. The graduation day was held on 21st February, 2018 at Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney.
HEO Robotics CEO William Crowe updated the audience on the company’s plans for the next two years. HEO Robotics plans to start the manufacturing process of their HERO-1 spacecraft Q3 2018, with an expected demonstration launch in Q4 2019. He also thanked Founder 10X for the role the program played in improving the company’s business model and enabling partnerships.
As part of the program, participants of Founder 10X had the opportunity to take part in Blackbox Ignite in Silicon Valley, a 3 day mentoring program conducted by world leading entrepreneurs and industry experts. Based on their performance at Blackbox Ignite, HEO Robotics was selected to take part in Blackbox Connect program, a highly selective, two-week residential program for global founders looking to hone their craft of entrepreneurship and tap into the Silicon Valley growth mindset.
