Sydney, Australia – 23 October 2025 – HEO has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Quantum Aero to introduce Non-Earth Imaging capabilities into the Republic of Korea. The partnership will establish a foundation for advanced space domain awareness and strengthen the region’s ability to monitor and understand the rapidly evolving space environment.
Through this agreement, HEO and Quantum Aero will explore opportunities to integrate Non-Earth Imaging into Korean government and commercial space programs. The collaboration will combine HEO’s high-frequency imaging technology with Quantum Aero’s deep network and local engineering capability across the aerospace and defence sectors, enabling greater transparency and insight into orbital activity.
“Non-Earth Imaging changes how we see and understand activities in space,” said Will Crowe, CEO of HEO. “Partnering with Quantum Aero allows us to extend those capabilities into one of Asia’s most advanced space markets and support Korea’s growing ambitions in national and commercial space operations.”
"By combining HEO’s Non-Earth Imaging data with Quantum Aero’s defense AI capabilities and network, we can enable autonomous, ground-free assessment of satellite health and status,” said Dongkeun Jeon, Founder and Chairman of Quantum Aero. “We are excited to collaborate with HEO to bring these innovations to life. This partnership represents a major step in extending defense AI autonomy into the orbital domain and setting a new standard for AI-driven space situational awareness in the Korean market.
The partnership represents an important milestone in HEO’s global expansion, reinforcing its mission to make space transparent through high-frequency imaging of satellites, space debris, and other orbital assets. As both companies advance joint initiatives, the focus will remain on delivering actionable insights that enhance security, transparency, and sustainability in orbit.
